Photon ring structure of rotating regular black holes and no-horizon spacetimes

چکیده
The Kerr black holes possess a photon region with prograde and retrograde orbits radii, respectively, $M\leq r_p^-\leq 3M$ $3M\leq r_p^+\leq 4M$, thereby always cast closed ring or shadow silhouette for $a\leq M$. For $a>M$, it is no-horizon spacetime (naked singularity) wherein spiral into the central singularity, produce an arc-like dark spot at center. We compare holes' structure those produced by three rotating regular spacetimes, viz. Bardeen, Hayward, nonsingular. These are non-Kerr hole metrics additional deviation parameter of $g$ related to nonlinear electrodynamics charge. It turns out that given $ $, there exists critical value g $g_E$ such $\Delta=0$ has no zeros > g_E$, one double zero r = r_E g_E corresponding extremal degenerate horizon. demonstrate that, unlike naked spacetimes can when $g_E< \leq g_c$, e.g., $a=0.10M$, Bardeen ($g_E=0.763332M<g\leq g_c= 0.816792M$), Hayward ($g_E=1.05297M < g\leq g_c 1.164846M$) nonsingular ($g_E=1.2020M 1.222461M$) have ring. results confirm mere existence does not prove compact object necessarily hole. circularity observable $\Delta C$ satisfy C\leq 0.10$ as per M87* observations. also appended case Kerr-Newman singularities) similar features.

Horizon dynamics of distorted rotating black holes
We present numerical simulations of a rotating black hole distorted by a pulse of ingoing gravitational radiation. For strong pulses, we find up to five concentric marginally outer trapped surfaces. These trapped surfaces appear and disappear in pairs, so that the total number of such surfaces at any given time is odd. The world tubes traced out by the marginally outer trapped surfaces are foun...
متن کاملNegative Horizon Mass for Rotating Black Holes
Charged rotating black holes of Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory in odd dimensions, D ≥ 5, may possess a negative horizon mass, while their total mass is positive. This surprising feature is related to the existence of counterrotating solutions, where the horizon angular velocity Ω and the angular momentum J possess opposite signs. Black holes may further possess vanishing horizon angular v...
متن کاملRotating “Black Holes” with Holes in the Horizon
Kerr-Schild solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell field equations, containing semi-infinite axial singular lines, are investigated. It is shown that axial singularities break up the black hole, forming holes in the horizon. As a result, a tube-like region appears which allows matter to escape from the interior without crossing the horizon. It is argued that axial singularities of this kind, leading...
متن کاملA family of regular quantum interiors for non-rotating black holes I: The GRNSS spacetimes
A seemingly natural mechanism is proposed, that could stop the gravitational collapse of a very massive body. Without needing to change the concept of the collapsing process itself, that is, without invoking thin layers nor resorting to asymptoticity (as has been usually done in the literature), it is proven that a model can be built in which the quantum vacuum is able to produce a negative str...
متن کاملDirty black holes: Thermodynamics and horizon structure.
Considerable interest has recently been expressed in (static spherically symmetric) blackholes in interaction with various classical matter fields (such as electromagnetic fields, dilaton fields, axion fields, Abelian Higgs fields, non–Abelian gauge fields, etc). A common feature of these investigations that has not previously been remarked upon is that the Hawking temperature of such systems a...
